Shortly after the United States rallied for a 1-1 tie with Canada in front of 28,000-plus fans in Winnipeg on Thursday night, someone stuck a microphone in front of John Herdman. Then Herdman does what he usually does: He exaggerates. The fourth-year coach of the Canadian squad, a 38-year-old Englishman who coached the New Zealand women from 2006-2011 before guiding Canada to a bronze medal in the 2012 London Olympics, was asked about the performance of Canadian defender Kadeisha Buchanan.
