Abby Wambach unveils cover, release date of upcoming memoir

Rochester, N.Y. – Soccer legend and Rochester native Abby Wambach unveiled the cover of her upcoming memoir Thursday afternoon.

Wambach tweeted out the picture of the book, titledForward, which goes on sale September 13.

According to the publisher, Forward recounts Wambach’s “decisions, wins, losses, and the pivotal moments that helped her become the world class athlete and leader she is today.”
